Our inspiration for this holiday party located at the Seaport World Trade Center on South Boston’s waterfront is vintage chic glamour. Swags of chic white fabric, intermixed with antique chandeliers, lanterns, birdcages and parasols added warmth and composed an elaborately designed ceiling treatment that drew attendee’s eyes up, creating an instant topic of conversation. Rustic washed woods, lace linens, and burlap create texture and soft antique seating allowed for more intimate conversation areas. The custom designed chateau bar was made in house by AOTE expert craftsmen. Vintage decor items such as old books, distressed mercury glass and birdcages were mixed in vignettes with custom florals of babies breath and pastel color roses to create that chic feel. Etageres and antique lantern street lights were placed in areas for function and as an added design element. Antique area rugs were strategically placed to define areas and contributed to the vintage concept. Cool soft purple and blue lighting served to set the relaxed luxurious mood of this event.
